I have trouble spelling and often have to go through little rhymes to help me out.
for instance the rule about 'i' before 'e'. When I am spelling 'friend', instead of reciting that little rule, I use word association - of a sort...and come up with 'fried' and 'end'.
It actually describes some of my friends... they're so busy both their ends are fried!!!!
